Visit Wat Arun at the break of the day
The first light of day reflects off the temple surface to reveal a stunning unearthly pearly glow that is just magical! The temple structure is exquisite too! What better way to start your day in Bangkok!

Head to the Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is one of the most touristic sites in Bangkok, but somehow a visit to the city won’t seem quite complete without seeing it first-hand. Constructed in 1782, it was the home of the Royal Thai family, the Palace court, and the administrative centre of the country for at least 150 years. The art and architecture are beautiful, and these are hailed as fine examples of traditional Thai artwork. Also located within the Palace is Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This sacred Buddhist shrine is one of the most important in the land and contains an image of the Lord Buddha, carved out of one giant block of emerald. Go there as early as possible if you want to have the place to yourself.

Discover the shopping scene
Shopping in Bangkok is quite an adventure! There are plenty of top-notch shopping complexes, as well as traditional markets. Make sure you experience both while in Bangkok if shopping is something you enjoy doing. If you happen to be there on a weekend, check out Chatuchak Weekend Market. It is one of the largest outdoor markets found anywhere in the world. If not, visit one of the other markets such as Rot Fai or Sampeng Lane Market near Chinatown. If you prefer to experience the malls of Bangkok, there is plenty of that! MBK Centre, Pantip Plaza, Asiatique Riverfront (which is a mall and night bazaar), Siam Paragon, Central World, and Terminal 21 are some of the most popular among dozens more in Bangkok.

Dinner Cruise
The Chao Phraya River is a significant part of Bangkok’s history. The city used to be overrun by canals, and people used to travel via the river. The river still remains an integral part of their transport system, and many travel to work via ferries. Even some of the key attractions can be accessed from the boats, which is a good way of bypassing the insane Bangkok traffic. To experience the beauty of Bangkok’s skyline, go on a dinner cruise or just any boat ride for that matter. Dusk is the best time for this, as you get to experience the dazzling temple tops alongside the pink and purple receding rays of the sun. It will be the perfect way to end any day in Bangkok. While in Bangkok, Thailand hotels are something you won’t go short of! There are plenty of great places to choose from, and properties belonging to popular chains such as Chatrium Hotels & Residences are options to look out for.

Visit Chinatown for Dinner
Chinatown in Bangkok is one of the oldest in the world, so it's quite a must-visit attraction when in Bangkok. It’s great for shoppers and all foodies. If you are after bargains and interesting trinkets, this is the place to browse through, as you are bound to find something that catches your fancy. There are plenty of authentic Chinese dishes like Peking Duck and Thai food sold by vendors at very reasonable prices as well.
